For those of you that have not seen this video, it is a very powerful explanation as to how Social Networking is not a Fad but apart of our everyday lives.
This is also a wakening to any agents that are not making the most out of this process when marketing a property. You are literally missing out on thousands of potential opportunities to make sales.

An interesting video for sure , amazing statistics.
I'd be interested in hearing some feed back from companies who have had success using such social media...any one?

Twitter Update (April 2009)
Twitter (Twitter) is now growing at a mind-boggling 2,565 percent. In total, it reached more than 13 million people in the US during the month – and that’s just on its website (i.e. – not counting clients like TweetDeck (TweetDeck) or Seesmic Desktop (Seesmic Desktop)). Next month will likely see this total continue to swell, thanks to huge mainstream media events like Ashton Kutcher versus CNN and Oprah jumping onto Twitter.

Any one with personal experiences that have helped sales?

I'm still working on my twitter account as many other thousands of companies - large and small .
Promoted Tweets introduces a way for these businesses to gain extra exposure for their messages. For example, if you own a coffee shop, when a user searches for "coffee" on Twitter, you'll conceivably be able to have a tweet from your business sit atop the results."

However, these ads shouldn't be thought of like traditional forms of online advertising, like a banner or even a text link in search, but rather an extension of what you're already doing on Twitter. Promoted Tweets will sink or swim - quite literally - based on the response they get from users.

Loads of traffic but really , all I see is spam spam.
I've heard it all before . " You're not only potentially missing out on current benefits, but may be losing out on future benefits as well."

Really social media is not every thing , what were we all doing before twitter and facebook?
I read some place for social media to be partly effective , users need to spend 20-40 hrs per week, every week trying to self promote.
You do the sums and that's a lot of time with very little reward, with the hope one day it just might happen.
