I recently had my roof deck roof screwed off and noticed that small metal fibers were swept onto my my yet to be coated Spotted gum decking. I broomed off the deck and thought I had removed it all.
Anyway recently it rained and there are a few couple of areas which have a sprinkling of black rust stains. It looks very dirty, is there anything I can use before coating the deck to remove the rust?
Will sanding fix the problem or will it continue to get worse?:(
